On the morning of March 2, in Buon Ho town, the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Dak Lak province held a groundbreaking ceremony to build houses for poor households according to the Project to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Dak Lak province in 2025. This is the first house to be built and given to people in Buon Ho town before the simultaneous construction starts in the province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Le Vinh Quy, Director of the Provincial Police Department, said: With the consent of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Police Department has coordinated with the Party Committee and the People's Committee of Buon Ho town to select disadvantaged households to organize the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the first house for people in Buon Ho town, then simultaneously start construction in the province. With the highest political determination, competing to achieve achievements to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Force's tradition day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025); welcoming the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025 - 2030 term, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party, the Provincial Police Department is determined to complete the construction of 4,285 houses and hand them over to people for use before August 15, 2025. The total cost of house construction is 342.8 billion VND. The support level for building each new house is 80 million VND; of which, the Central Government supports 60 million VND and the province supports 20 million VND.

He requested the Steering Committee for eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households in the province to closely coordinate with departments, branches and local authorities to perform well the assigned tasks. Step up propaganda and mobilize cadres, party members, union members, civil servants, public employees, armed forces and workers to pay attention to contributing working days; Select a capable contractor to carry out the construction and repair of houses to ensure quality and progress; complete the project to support the construction of houses for policy families, meritorious people, poor households, and near-poor households in the area according to the set plan.

It is known that the house was built and given to Mr. Y Than Ksor's family, a poor household with 7 members. Mr. Y Than Ksor himself suffered a stroke, while the house he was living in had been built a long time ago and was leaking in many places, but the family did not have the means to repair it, so the family's daily life was facing many difficulties.
