The Provincial Inspectorate has just coordinated with the People's Committee of Cu Kuin district to organize a conference to propagate, disseminate andeducate the law on receiving citizens, handling complaints and denunciations for commune judicial officials, heads of villages, hamlets, and prestigious people in the district in 2023.
Attending the conference were Deputy Chief Inspector of the province Le Van Hao; Chairman of the People's Committee of Cu Kuin district Vo Tan Huy and representatives of relevant sectors.

At the conference, delegates were informed and disseminated about the 2011 Law on Complaints, the 2013 Law on Citizen Reception, the 2018 Law on Denunciation and documents guiding their implementation.
Accordingly, the 2011 Law on Complaints consists of 8 Chapters and 70 Articles, regulating complaints and settlement of complaints against administrative decisions and administrative acts of state administrative agencies; complaints and settlement of complaints against disciplinary decisions against cadres and civil servants; citizen reception; management and supervision of complaint settlement work.

The 2013 Law on Citizen Reception has 9 Chapters and 35 Articles regulating the responsibility for receiving citizens; the rights and obligations of those who come to make complaints, denunciations, recommendations, and reflections; the organization of citizen reception activities at the Citizen Reception Office, and conditions to ensure citizen reception activities.
The 2018 Law on Denunciation has 9 Chapters and 67 Articles. This Law regulates denunciation and handling of denunciations against violations of the law in the performance of duties; responsibilities of agencies and organizations in managing the work of handling denunciations.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the People's Committee of Cu Kuin district Vo Tan Huy requested that the commune's judicial officials, heads of villages, hamlets, and prestigious people in the district seriously study and learn more about the purpose, meaning, and process of receiving and handling petitions, complaints, and denunciations in citizen reception. Raising awareness, respect, compliance, and enforcement of the law contributes to limiting the rate of false, multi-place, over-level, backlog, and prolonged complaints and denunciations, stabilizing the political security situation, social order and safety.
