On November 24, Cu Kuin District People's Committee held a conference to evaluate and classify OCOP products in 2023.

By the end of 2022, Cu Kuin district had 3 products achieving 3 provincial-level stars. Currently, there are 3 entities registering and submitting 7 products to participate in the evaluation and classification of OCOP products, including: Brocade textile products of Ami Sia Agricultural - Service and Brocade Textile Cooperative; Raw roasted coffee, Vietnamese Bleng gu coffee, Mrs. Tuyen soursop tea, lotus-heart ginseng tea bags, herbal soursop tea bags of Red Bazan Production - Trade - Service Company Limited; Cracked dried macadamia nuts of Minh Anh Green Food - Nutrition Food Company Limited.

According to preliminary assessment, 7 products of 3 entities participating in the evaluation and classification of OCOP products in 2023 in the district all meet the requirements for OCOP product evaluation records specified in Point a, Point b, Clause 3, Appendix II, Decision No. 148/QD-TTg dated February 24, 2023 of the Prime Minister.
At the same time, the Consulting Team organized on-site inspections at the production facilities of 3 units to verify the reality and conformity of the production facilities according to the requirements of current regulations and the OCOP criteria set.

The OCOP product classification evaluation council has carefully studied and reviewed each product to evaluate and score. The products evaluated this time have many improvements in quality, diverse designs, ensuring a number of conditions for stamps, labels, and raw materials from local agricultural products to meet consumer needs.
As a result, through evaluation and classification, 7 products all achieved 3 stars or more, of which 3 products achieved over 70 points and continued to be proposed for provincial evaluation.
Organizing the assessment and classification of OCOP products in 2023 will unleash the potential and advantages in agricultural production in the district, promote people's creativity to create high-quality, standard products that are competitive in domestic and international markets, contributing to local economic development.
