Yen Bai - In order to successfully and comprehensively implement and exceed the targets and key tasks in 2025 according to Action Program No. 246-CTr/TU dated December 6, 2024 of Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee on leading the implementation of political tasks in 2025, Van Yen District Party Committee has proposed many breakthrough solutions and focused on implementation with a spirit of innovation, creativity, flexibility and high responsibility.

With the consistent motto of action "Breakthrough, determination, discipline, flexibility, creativity, efficiency", based on the consistent guiding viewpoint of Action Program 246 of Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee: All levels, sectors, and localities must make great efforts, high determination, further promote initiative, creativity, dare to think, dare to do to focus on implementing the tasks and solutions set out with the spirit of "Next year higher than the previous year, next quarter higher than the previous quarter, next month higher than the previous month", right from the beginning of 2025, Van Yen has seriously and effectively implemented Action Program No. 246 of the Provincial Party Committee. At the same time, focusing on concretizing the goals and tasks suitable for each level, sector, and locality associated with clear assignment of responsibilities. The work of reviewing the implementation progress is regularly deployed, promptly removing difficulties, ensuring the completion of the set plan.
Comrade Ha Duc Anh - Secretary of Van Yen District Party Committee said: "Based on the Action Program 246 of the Provincial Party Committee, Van Yen district has concretized it into 46 main targets for implementation. Of which, there are 17 economic targets, 15 socio-cultural targets, 8 environmental targets, 6 targets in the field of Party building and the political system. We have also issued a detailed plan, assigned specific tasks to agencies, units, and localities associated with the implementation roadmap, and promoted the role of leaders in implementing the targets and tasks with the determination to complete the political tasks at the highest level in 2025".
In 2025, Van Yen has set out specific targets to achieve: Industrial production value of 2,000 billion VND; total retail sales of goods and service revenue of 4,000 billion VND; export value of goods of at least 30 million USD. At the same time, focusing on attracting investors to develop tourism, building unique tourism products such as: Dao ethnic cultural tourism, eco-tourism at Na Hau Nature Reserve, community tourism and spiritual tourism at Dong Cuong Temple... The goal is that by the end of 2025, Van Yen will attract 500,000 visitors, including 27,000 international visitors with tourism revenue of 300 billion VND or more.
Comrade Ha Trung Kien - Head of the Department of Culture - Science and Information of Van Yen district said: "From the beginning of the year, we have issued a plan, striving to complete the assigned targets and tasks according to the Action Program No. 246 of the Provincial Party Committee. Accordingly, in the first 2 months of the year, the district welcomed and served 169,100 visitors, reaching 33.82% of the plan. Of which, 98,300 visitors stayed in the area, reaching 32.76% of the plan; 8,700 international visitors, reaching 32.22% of the plan; revenue from tourism activities is estimated at 98 billion VND, reaching 32.66% of the plan. This is an important premise for the industry to complete the target of welcoming and serving over 500,000 domestic and international tourists by 2025, with revenue reaching 300 billion VND".
According to the 246th Action Program, in 2025, Van Yen district has many practical solutions to create momentum for key economic zones such as the intensive rice cultivation area with high productivity, quality and efficiency of over 6,000 hectares; the fruit tree area with over 500 hectares; the concentrated cassava growing area with 4,000 hectares; the production forest growing area with over 70,000 hectares; the aquaculture area of over 300 hectares, the cinnamon area of nearly 60,000 hectares, and the mulberry growing area of over 200 hectares.
Along with that, the district will continue to focus on implementing solutions to improve the investment environment, attract businesses and investors to the district to invest in high-tech agricultural production, safe agricultural products and deep processing of agricultural products which are the district's strengths; promote the promotion, invitation, joint ventures and associations to create a sustainable agricultural product chain from planting, processing to product consumption; lead and direct the implementation of agricultural and forestry development planning according to the overall socio-economic development planning of Van Yen district to 2030, with a vision to 2050.

In particular, in 2025, Van Yen district will build new and repair 203 temporary and dilapidated houses according to Decision No. 150 dated January 23, 2025 of Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee on approving the Project to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Yen Bai province in 2025, mobilizing all resources to complete the construction of houses for meritorious people, poor households, and near-poor households before June 30, 2025.
With the spirit of innovation, creativity, determination and high responsibility, Van Yen district is gradually realizing the goals set out in the Provincial Party Committee's Action Program No. 246 and the socio-economic development plan for 2025.
