At the 42nd session, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on the National Assembly's resolutions on the organizational structure of the Government for the 15th National Assembly term.
According to the announcement of the National Assembly Office, today (February 5), the National Assembly Standing Committee opened its 42nd session to review and give opinions on many important contents.

Accordingly, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on the Law on Government Organization (amended); draft resolutions of the National Assembly on the organizational structure and number of Government members for the 15th National Assembly term.
At the same time, the National Assembly Standing Committee will also give opinions on the draft Law on Organization of Local Government (amended); the draft Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents (amended); and the draft Resolution of the National Assembly to resolve issues arising in legal provisions related to the arrangement of the apparatus.
According to the National Assembly Office, the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on the Organization of the National Assembly; the draft resolution of the National Assembly on the organizational structure of the National Assembly's specialized agencies, the number of members of the 15th National Assembly Standing Committee, and the draft Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the specific tasks, powers and organizational structure of the National Assembly's specialized agencies will also be considered at this session.
These are draft laws serving the restructuring and streamlining of the apparatus, expected to be considered by the National Assembly at the extraordinary session scheduled to open soon.
In addition to the above contents, regarding the work of law-making, the National Assembly Standing Committee will also consider the draft Ordinance on Management and Protection of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Relic Site; consider and approve a number of resolutions to implement the Law on Organization of People's Courts in 2024.
The National Assembly Standing Committee will also give opinions on explaining, accepting and revising the draft Law on Teachers; the draft Law on Chemicals (amended); and consider the draft Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on explaining a number of articles of the Law on Emulation and Commendation in 2022.
In addition, at the 3-day session, the National Assembly Standing Committee will also review the National Assembly's report on people's petitions in January 2025.
At the same time, consider and approve the resolution approving the proposal of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy on the organization of the Supreme People's Procuracy; Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on principles, criteria and norms for allocating public investment capital from the state budget for the period 2026 - 2030.
