According to the report, in 2023, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee conducted 2 inspections of 62 Party organizations and 10 Party members; 2 inspections when there were signs of violations for 4 Party organizations. Inspection Commissions at all levels conducted inspections when there were signs of violations for 145 Party organizations and 360 Party members (an increase of 24 Party members compared to the same period in 2022)...

The inspection content continues to focus on prominent issues that cause social outrage; new, difficult, and complicated matters such as those related to AIC International Progress Joint Stock Company; related to the purchase of drugs, supplies, and medical equipment; land management, construction order; personnel work, etc.

Thematic supervision focuses on the implementation of working regulations of Party committees and the leadership, direction and implementation of political tasks; timely supervision of land management in areas where the Ring Road 4 - Capital Region Project passes through; leadership, direction and organization of the implementation of declaration and disclosure of assets and income.
Disciplinary enforcement has been carried out fairly, accurately and promptly; a number of cases in which party members were prosecuted, indicted or detained have been proactively reviewed and promptly disciplined by Party committees and Inspection Commissions at all levels, without waiting for the conclusion of the investigation agency or the verdict of the court.
Along with completing the 2023 work plan, the City Party Committee's Inspection Commission has focused on drastically and synchronously implementing many inspections on complicated cases that have lasted for many years, directed by the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee according to the tasks assigned by the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption and Negativity and the Central Inspection Commission: Inspection of personnel work; compliance with the Party's policies and the State's laws on equitization of state-owned enterprises in the city; compliance with the law in purchasing foreign language classroom equipment, the project to enhance foreign language teaching and learning of the Department of Education and Training; leadership, direction and organization of implementation of Party regulations and State laws on projects and bidding packages by AIC International Progress Joint Stock Company and enterprises in the AIC "ecosystem"...
Speaking at the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Thi Tuyen requested the City Party Committee's Inspection Commission to focus on implementing a number of key tasks.
In particular, Party committees, Party organizations, and Inspection Commissions at all levels, especially leaders, need to continue to raise awareness and responsibility, strengthen leadership, direction, and guidance for their own Inspection Commissions and lower-level Party committees, Party organizations, and Inspection Commissions to perform inspection and supervision tasks.
Proactively research, disseminate, thoroughly understand, and strictly implement regulations, rules, and instructions of the Central Executive Committee, Politburo, Secretariat, and Central Inspection Commission on inspection and supervision work.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee requested the City Party Committee's Inspection Commission and Inspection Commissions at all levels to focus on inspecting the implementation of working regulations and the principle of democratic centralism; focusing on areas prone to negativity.
Some areas that can be mentioned are: Administrative reform, personnel work, planning work, project management, land, construction order, finance, public asset procurement to detect, remind, warn early, prevent from afar, not let small violations become major violations, resolutely and strictly handle Party organizations and Party members who violate.
Along with receiving, classifying, processing and resolving complaints and denunciations, especially those related to leaders and managers at all levels; it is necessary to proactively guide and direct the grassroots level to effectively carry out inspection and supervision work.
Along with that, pay attention to building a team of inspection staff who are proficient in their profession, have a strong character, and can well fulfill the tasks assigned by the Central Inspection Committee, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, and the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee.
