With its assigned functions and tasks, the An Giang Provincial Women's Union has proactively developed plans and implemented activities with many forms and creative solutions, supporting women in economic development, helping them escape poverty, contributing to improving women's economic empowerment. From 2021 to present, the whole province has nearly 1,850 female entrepreneurs and business owners who have been trained to improve their capacity in business management and operation skills; online sales skills, e-commerce, brand recognition knowledge, and instructions on product trademark registration procedures. At the same time, 149 enterprises and women startups have been supported to register for protection and intellectual property; register for traceability; apply solar energy; 264 projects/ideas have participated in the competition; introduced 48 projects/ideas to participate in the competition at the Central level and organized by sectors.
In addition, the Women's Union at all levels in the province supports product consumption connections, expanding markets for 413 products; 4,260 members and women have access to capital from the Women's Economic Development Support Fund, credit institutions, and commercial banks to start businesses and develop businesses, with an amount of over 30 billion VND. In addition, the whole province has 13 cooperatives and 117 cooperative groups managed and operated by women, with nearly 2,000 members participating, focusing on the agricultural and non-agricultural sectors, with an average income of 3 - 5 million VND/person/month.

To create market and investment opportunities for female entrepreneurs, the provincial government and related departments and branches have supported female entrepreneurs through support, propaganda, market research, building promotional video clip content, guidance, and support for female entrepreneurs to participate in domestic and international trade fairs, especially as souvenirs for foreign tourists.

Vice Chairwoman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy affirmed that through the conference, the cooperative relationship between the An Giang Provincial Women's Union and the Cambodian Women's Association for Peace and Development of Kandal Province will be strengthened. At the same time, it will create conditions for female entrepreneurs to exchange, learn and share experiences in the business field, especially in areas where women can participate and develop, such as: Production, agricultural processing, tourism, handicrafts and other industries and support enterprises of An Giang and Kandal provinces to introduce and link products in the business field, contributing to introducing and promoting each other's strengths.
