Veterans of Artillery Regiment 572 visit the old battlefield

On the morning of March 23, the Veterans Group of Artillery Regiment 572 organized a visit to the old battlefield at the Nuoc Oa Relic Site, Tra Tan Commune, Bac Tra My District.

Here, more than 30 veterans participating in the journey visited the living and working place of comrade Vo Chi Cong. At the working house of comrade Chu Huy Man and comrade Vo Thu, many relics related to the living and working of the comrades are still preserved, along with the system of shelters inside and outside the houses.

The Nuoc Oa relic site is the revolutionary base of the Zone V Party Committee, the Zone V Military Command and the Zone V agencies, departments and branches during the resistance war against the US (1960-1973). This place regularly hosts sightseeing, tourism, historical exploration, and revisiting of old battlefields, contributing to honoring the heroic image and historical value of the Nuoc Oa Base.

During the journey, the Veterans Delegation will continue to visit the localities of Dai Loc, Duy Xuyen and Dien Ban.
