Vy Da Ward grants funding to support the repair of "Great Solidarity" houses for people in the Con Hen area

Each household was supported by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thuan Hoa district with 20 million VND from the district's "For the Poor" fund; the local Party Committee and government of Vy Da ward supported each household with an additional 2 million VND. The total cost of supporting 6 households to repair "Dai Doan Ket" houses was 132 million VND.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy, District Party Committee member and Party Secretary of Vy Da Ward, said: People living in the Con Hen area are currently facing housing difficulties. Many households here live in temporary, dilapidated houses.

Hopefully, in the coming time, there will continue to be more poor and near-poor households in the Con Hen area receiving financial support to repair “Dai Doan Ket” houses; helping them feel more secure in life, trying to rise out of poverty.

On the same day, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hue University held an inauguration ceremony and handed over the "Great Unity" house to a student's family in difficult circumstances.

The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hue University has handed over a house to student Luong Viet Minh Tuan - a second-year student of the Faculty of Information Technology, University of Sciences, Hue University, currently residing in Vi Da Ward (Thuan Hoa District). The house was built with a total cost of more than 120 million VND from the support and contributions of union members, students of Hue University and benefactors.

After more than 3 months of construction, the dream house has been officially completed and put into use. This is a source of encouragement for Minh Tuan to have more confidence in the future, continue to strive and spread noble human values, becoming a useful citizen for society.

This activity celebrates the 50th anniversary of Hue City Liberation Day (March 26, 1975 - March 26, 2025); complete liberation of the South and national reunification; and welcomes Youth Month 2025.
