The Ministry of Health held a meeting at its headquarters to assess the progress of implementing online public services throughout the process to improve administrative efficiency and create maximum convenience for people and businesses.

By the end of 2024, the Ministry of Health had successfully deployed 115 administrative procedures out of a total of 141 procedures eligible for full-process online public service implementation.

This means that nearly 87% of the Ministry of Health's administrative procedures have records submitted online, contributing to reducing time and costs for people and organizations.

Although there are still some administrative procedures that have not yet been fully deployed with online public services, the Ministry of Health has set out a plan to complete the connection of all administrative procedures into the system in the near future, in order to improve transparency and efficiency in management.

The Ministry of Health currently manages 249 administrative procedures by field and 325 administrative procedures by unit. Of these, 141 administrative procedures have been identified as eligible for full-process online public service deployment.

Departments and offices of the Ministry of Health have also built systems to receive and process online records, such as the Department of Drug Administration with 86 administrative procedures, of which 26 procedures participate in the National Single Window Mechanism, the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management with 2 procedures that need to be connected to the administrative procedure settlement system, and the Department of Food Safety with 9 administrative procedures that are partially implementing online public services.

Currently, the Ministry of Health has completed connecting 106 online public services to the National Public Service Portal, including 7 full-service online public services.

The Drug Administration of Vietnam is the leading unit with 6 comprehensive online public services, helping to save time and increase transparency in administrative procedures. These services not only help to reduce paperwork but also ensure accuracy and transparency in processing records.

In addition, the Ministry of Health has also set out a specific roadmap to complete the connection of all online public services with the Ministry's Administrative Procedure Information System and the National Public Service Portal.

In 2025, the Ministry of Health plans to complete the connection of the remaining administrative procedures on a quarterly basis. Specifically, in the first quarter of 2025, the Ministry of Health will complete the connection of 9 public services of the Department of Infrastructure and Medical Equipment with the Ministry of Health's Administrative Procedure Information System and the National Public Service Portal.

In the second quarter of 2025, 20 more public services of the Drug Administration will be connected, prioritizing services that generate many records, and in the third quarter of 2025, public services of departments and offices will continue to be connected, including the Department of Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy Management and the Department of Health Environment Management.

To speed up the effectiveness of online public services, Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Tri Thuc requested relevant units to urgently review and remove difficulties in the process of implementing online public services throughout the process.

At the same time, the Ministry of Health is also researching the construction of a National Health Data Center to synchronize health sector data and support research and policy making.

The center will play an important role in maintaining the operation of the national health data system, ensuring the stability and continuity of online public services, and improving the quality of administrative management and health care.

The Ministry of Health's efforts in implementing comprehensive online public services not only help improve administrative processes but also create a favorable environment for people and businesses to access health services.

The Ministry of Health's next steps in improving the quality of online public services will continue to contribute to building a transparent, efficient and accessible public administration system, thereby promoting the development of the health sector in the future.
