Acne is one of the biggest worries of young people in puberty. At this age, the face suddenly rebels with hateful tiny pimples.

Why do pimples plague the faces of teenage girls and boys? There are five main reasons.
The first is hormonal changes, which is the number one culprit. During puberty, the body produces more sex hormones (androgens), which stimulate the sebaceous glands to become more active. Excess sebum clogs pores, creating conditions for bacteria to grow and cause acne.
The second is improper skin care. Washing your face too much or using the wrong cleanser can make acne worse. Washing your face too much may seem like it cleans it, but it can actually make acne worse. Why is washing your face too much counterproductive? Washing your face too often (more than twice a day) strips away the natural oils that protect your skin.
Don't "fiddle" with your pimples, pimples don't like to be poked or squeezed! Touching your face is feeding bacteria to pimples, don't do that! If necessary, see a dermatologist.
Third is an unreasonable diet. Eating a lot of fried foods, sweets, and cow's milk can increase insulin, stimulating the sebum glands to work harder. Lack of substances such as zinc, vitamin A, and E also makes the skin weaker. Dry, peeling skin due to lack of vitamins makes acne more likely. Eat a lot of vegetables, drink a lot of water, and eat a balanced diet of protein, fat, sugar, and vitamins. Do not let yourself get constipated.
Fourth is stress and lack of sleep. Stressful studying and staying up late cause hormonal imbalance in the body, disrupting its functioning, causing more acne to appear.
The fifth factor is genetics. If parents have had a lot of acne, their children are more likely to have acne than others. The reason is that parents have oily skin, large pores, and high hormone production, which will pass on this trait to their children.
In addition, polluted environment and weather changes also damage the skin, causing acne to develop more.
If you have a lot of acne and it's red and inflamed, don't be embarrassed. Go see a doctor immediately, because if left untreated, acne can become infected and leave ugly scars.
