Dak Lak Youth launched the 2024 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Student Association of Dak Lak province H'Giang Nie said that in recent years, the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign in the province has increasingly developed with diverse content and rich forms, creating a good impression in the hearts of the people and being recognized by society.

This year's Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign takes place in the atmosphere of the whole province competing to welcome the Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union at all levels, towards the 9th Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of Dak Lak province, term 2024-2029 and to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the founding of Dak Lak province (November 22, 1904 - November 22, 2024).

Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Central Vietnam Student Association Nguyen Minh Triet, on behalf of the Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union, supported 10 sets of kram gongs and livelihood models for Dak Lak province, with a total value of more than 1 billion VND.

The 2024 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign has 1 program "Supporting the exam season" and 4 campaigns: Green Summer, Pink Vacation, Red Flamboyant, Green March. With the theme "Dak Lak Youth Volunteers", in this year's Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, the youth of the whole province set 17 targets, specifying the contents of activities associated with the political tasks of the province, clearly identifying key areas, target groups, and participating forces...

At the same time, we strive to carry out more than 35 youth projects and 69 youth activities; organize the launch of 106 youth volunteer teams, with a total value of nearly 4 billion VND. At the Campaign Launch Ceremony alone, Dak Lak youth built 8 projects and 20 youth activities with a total value of more than 2.1 billion VND.

At the launching ceremony, Dak Lak Provincial Youth Union presented 40 gifts to families with meritorious services to the revolution in Krong Bong district.

In order for the 2024 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign to achieve the best results, Dak Lak Provincial Youth Union Secretary H'Giang Nie requested that all levels of the Youth Union, Association, and Team in the province build youth projects and tasks for remote areas, ethnic minority areas; participate in building new rural areas and civilized urban areas; promote volunteer activities for community life, "Repaying gratitude", "When drinking water, remember its source". At the same time, focus on implementing the "3 links" policy (linking forces, linking areas, linking communities), the "1+1" and "1+2" ​​policies when implementing activities.

Dak Lak Provincial Youth Union awarded 5 environmental protection startup models.

Volunteer activities must be carefully prepared in terms of content and organization, promoting specialization according to the professional fields and strengths of young people. Organize activities to care for and educate teenagers and children; organize well summer cultural activities, summer camps, social practice skills education, life skills, accident and drowning prevention for children. Implement creative movements, start-ups, and careers for young people; develop loan groups, disburse capital sources to support young people to start-ups and careers; promote the role of the Youth Union in digital transformation...

Dak Lak Provincial Youth Union presented toilets to children at Ea Trul Primary School, Ea Trul Commune, Krong Bong District.

Dak Lak Provincial Youth Union Secretary H'Giang Nie also expressed his hope that all levels, sectors and localities will continue to pay more attention to the youth of 49 ethnic groups in the province, contributing to caring for and nurturing the young generation to become "both red and expert" people to worthily continue the career of the previous generation.

After the launching ceremony, delegates and union members and young people participated in activities such as: Youth Festival with Traffic Culture; visiting and presenting gifts to heroic Vietnamese mothers; planting 30 new black star trees; examining, treating and distributing medicine to 300 people in Hoa Son commune; starting to build toilets for children, donating bookshelves at Ea Trul Primary School, Ea Trul commune; Ly Tu Trong Secondary School, Hoa Thanh commune; donating a playground and starting to repair Ea Trul Kindergarten; starting to concretize the community volleyball court in Cu Kty commune; introducing jobs for union members and young people who have completed their service and returned to their localities...
