According to Mr. Hoang Viet Phuong, in 2024, Tuyen Quang province will organize Thanh Tuyen Festival lasting more than 30 days (from August 10 to September 15, 2024), with many unique and attractive cultural, sports and tourism activities, which are carefully and meticulously prepared, such as: Festival to perform representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity and Thanh Tuyen Festival 2024, with the theme "Quintessence converges and shines", taking place at 8:00 p.m., September 13, 2024, at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square, Tuyen Quang City on an international scale.
The program has the participation and performance of 6 Vietnamese heritages and 2 foreign heritages that have been recognized by UNESCO as representative intangible cultural heritages of humanity; The Thanh Tuyen Night Festival program, with the theme "Sparkling colors of Thanh Tuyen Night Festival" is the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival for teenagers and children organized on a national scale, broadcast live on VTV1 channel, Vietnam Television at 8:10 p.m. on September 14, 2024 with over 100 giant Mid-Autumn lantern models and mini Mid-Autumn lanterns participating in the parade", the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province added.

The Thanh Tuyen Festival Night Program, with the theme "Sparkling colors of Thanh Tuyen Festival Night" in 2024 is the 20th year that Tuyen Quang people have maintained and developed the Thanh Tuyen Festival. This is a unique, special, magnificent, and largest Mid-Autumn Festival in the country with hundreds of giant, sparkling, and colorful Mid-Autumn lantern models, creatively simulating images and characters in the world of fairy tales, legends, or in the history of the nation's revolutionary struggle..., paraded by people on the streets of Tuyen Quang City in the evening, continuously from mid-July to the end of the 15th day of the 8th lunar month;
Thanh Tuyen Festival has been awarded three Guinness Vietnam records by the National Record Council: "Mid-Autumn Festival with the largest number of lantern models in Vietnam"; "Largest Mid-Autumn Festival tray in Vietnam"; "Largest pair of lanterns in Vietnam".
From 2023, the Program will be officially organized on a national scale and will be a Mid-Autumn Festival for children nationwide. This is the second year that Tuyen Quang province has implemented the Project to innovate the organization of Thanh Tuyen Festival in the period of 2023 - 2025, with the main goal of building and developing the Festival into a national branded tourism product and reaching out to the international market.
