Recently, manager Dung Taylor - husband of singer Thu Phuong shared with Dan Viet reporter his comments about the lawsuit against Dam Vinh Hung and the couple of singer Bich Tuyen - technology businessman Gerard Richard Williams after the male singer had an accident and cut off his toe at his mansion in Newport Coast.
Manager Dung Taylor said that his relationship with singer Dam Vinh Hung is normal, not close, but there is no animosity, they still greet each other happily when they meet. The manager also said that he once invited Dam Vinh Hung to sing in the US when the male singer did not receive much support.
Regarding the family of singer Bich Tuyen and technology businessman Gerard Richard Williams, manager Dung Taylor said that he also knew them and had visited their home twice.
However, Dung Taylor affirmed that he was not close to singer Bich Tuyen's family: "If I was close to Bich Tuyen's family, I would have been invited to the party on February 19th during the Lunar New Year and would have become a witness like those present, but I was not invited."
Dung Taylor said that when he met businessman Gerard Richard Williams, he felt that he was a simple, cheerful, friendly person and an influential person in the technology industry in the US.

Singer Thu Phuong's husband said he spoke out in the name of transparency because he was quite knowledgeable about similar cases. In the US, Dung Taylor was often asked for advice by Vietnamese friends when guests sued him for having an accident while visiting their home.
Dung Taylor said that as a media person, when singer Bich Tuyen contacted him to provide information, he would report the news. As for singer Dam Vinh Hung, manager Dung Taylor said that the male singer has not made any move regarding the incident so far.
A few days ago, from the US, singer Bich Tuyen said: "Regarding Dam Vinh Hung's $15 million lawsuit, my husband did nothing wrong but demanded such a large amount of compensation."

Singer Bich Tuyen added that she and her husband will not compromise on the amount of compensation Dam Vinh Hung requested: "We will go to court, we will not negotiate or compromise with Dam Vinh Hung."
According to information provided by singer Bich Tuyen, the trial of her and her husband's lawsuit against Dam Vinh Hung will take place earlier than originally scheduled for June 2025.
It is known that singer Dam Vinh Hung and singer Bich Tuyen's family used to have a close relationship with each other, however, the current relationship between the female singer and her husband and Dam Vinh Hung has changed after the lawsuit. The female singer frankly shared: "Currently, my husband and I and Dam Vinh Hung have turned our backs on each other. We are waiting for the court to resolve the lawsuit."
Singer Bich Tuyen said that she and her husband worked with the team of lawyers on the lawsuit from Dam Vinh Hung and found that some details were inaccurate and did not reflect the true nature of the incident.
"Although I want to call Dam Vinh Hung directly, I realize this is not the right time. Any communication between the two sides needs to go through a lawyer and be under the supervision of the authorities," Bich Tuyen said.
Mr. Dung Taylor shared his personal views and comments on the incident: "In my opinion, the upcoming lawsuit will be followed by a lot of people, not only Vietnamese people, Vietnamese media but also Americans and American media. Businessman Gerard Richard Williams is an influential person in the US and has made many contributions to the technology field in the US.
Singer Dam Vinh Hung has always been very famous in Vietnam and the Vietnamese community in the US. Soon, the American people will know who Dam Vinh Hung is. I think this is also a move by Dam Vinh Hung. I think the American media will be very interested in both of these characters. And the American media will clarify the character of businessman Gerard Richard Williams and Dam Vinh Hung."

Manager Dung Taylor also released a video recorded by someone at the party of Dam Vinh Hung's accident. The clip also clarified the reason why Dam Vinh Hung fell and cut his toe at Bich Tuyen's house.
In the clip, Dam Vinh Hung is performing enthusiastically, surrounded by many excited people dancing along. Singer Hong Ngoc was also present at the party. Before the accident, singer Hong Ngoc put her hands on the fountain several times to test if it was sturdy. After that, Dam Vinh Hung tried to climb up and sit, but the fountain flipped over.

Regarding the lawsuit, singer Dam Vinh Hung asked Mr. Gerard Richard Williams (51 years old) to compensate an amount of about 15 million USD. The singer of Say Tinh mentioned the health, mental and financial losses after the accident that occurred at Mr. Gerard Richard Williams's mansion in Newport Coast, California in February 2024.
According to the lawsuit, Dam Vinh Hung accused Mr. Gerard Richard Williams of failing to ensure the safety of guests at a party held at his mansion in Newport Coast.
On February 19, while attending a party at Mr. Gerard's mansion, he was hit in the foot by debris from a concrete fountain that had fallen. The fountain was used as a stage and an outdoor drink stand but broke during the event.
The incident left the male singer seriously injured and had to have several toes amputated. Dam Vinh Hung said the accident forced him to change his schedule, canceling many performances in March and April 2024 (before being banned from performing) to focus on treatment, resulting in significant financial losses. His spirit was also affected.
