On March 12, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Agriculture and Environment Newspaper and the German Agricultural Association (DLG) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation. This event marks a new step in the journey of capacity building and sustainable development for Vietnam's agricultural sector.
Regarding the content of cooperation, the Agriculture and Environment Newspaper and the German Agricultural Association (DLG) agreed to focus on key sectors, promoting knowledge and technology transfer between delegations of the two countries. The parties will also seek opportunities to honor and nominate individuals or organizations that have made significant contributions to the agricultural development of Vietnam and Germany.
In addition, the Memorandum of Understanding will facilitate German agricultural enterprises, especially in the field of agricultural machinery, to access and expand the market in Vietnam; cooperate to promote scientific and technological advances, smart equipment and sustainable agricultural farming methods.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thach, Editor-in-Chief of Agriculture and Environment Newspaper, said that Vietnam Agriculture Newspaper (now Agriculture and Environment Newspaper) has paid special attention to and followed DLG's journey since the event "AGRITECHNICA Asia Live 2022". Since then, Agriculture and Environment Newspaper has been DLG's sole media partner in Vietnam.

Ms. Katharina Staske, Managing Director of DLG Asia-Pacific, expressed her impression of the wide coverage of the Agriculture and Environment Newspaper. She emphasized that the cooperation between the two sides not only helps expand the scope of communication but also contributes to promoting the application of agricultural advances into production practices in Vietnam.

According to Mr. Nguyen Do Anh Tuan, Director of the Department of International Cooperation (Ministry of Agriculture and Environment), the Memorandum of Understanding signed within the framework of the exhibition "AGRITECHNICA ASIA Vietnam 2025: Green Innovation" will create a connection between German and Vietnamese agriculture. In the context of the newly established Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, this cooperation also contributes to the goal of agricultural development associated with environmental protection.
With this good cooperative relationship, the representative of the Department of International Cooperation hopes that the Agriculture and Environment Newspaper will cooperate more deeply with German partners, and at the same time, spread new initiatives and technological solutions so that farmers can apply good practices for the environment.
