The weapons on this fighter are quite impressive, compatible with more weapons than any other aircraft of the same generation.
As observers point out, the Su-57 used stealth technology in the conflict in Ukraine, performing combat missions that were much more difficult than any other stealth aircraft in the world has ever performed.
The Su-57's strengths are not only its stealth capabilities, but also Russia's most advanced aviation technologies today, such as active phased array radar (AESA), ePilot pilot support system, as well as a series of modern aviation sensors and weapons.
The Su-57 has a maximum speed of 2,600 km/h, a ceiling of 20 km, and a maximum weapon load of about 14 - 16 tons. This fighter has 12 weapon suspension points, some of which can mount weapons weighing up to 1.5 tons each.
With high maneuverability, the Su-57 can evade missiles and counterattack the enemy.
The Su-57 has four weapons bays embedded in the fuselage: two large weapons bays under the belly, which can carry four RVV-MD beyond-visual-range air-to-air missiles and two R-73 infrared air-to-air missiles, and two small weapons bays on the sides. In addition, the Su-57 can carry four Kh-38 air-to-ground missiles, or four Kh-58 anti-radiation missiles.
