2025 is an important year for the Communist Party of Vietnam to prepare for the 14th National Congress scheduled to take place in early 2026, which is also a turning point year bringing the country into a new era of development and prosperity.
This is the opening of an article published on Argentina's Resumen Latinoamericano website, which mentions Vietnam's efforts to put innovation at the heart of its national development strategy to achieve a national growth target of more than 8% this year, in a volatile international context.
According to a VNA correspondent in Buenos Aires, the Resumen Latinoamericano website highly appreciated the strategic thinking and long-term development vision of the leaders of the Party and State of Vietnam in Resolution No. 52-NQ/TW in 2019 on a number of policies and strategies to proactively participate in the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and assessed that this is the key for Vietnam to move towards a new era full of opportunities.

The article cites Vietnam's ranking 44/133 countries in the Global Innovation Index (GII) in 2024, up 2 places compared to 2023.
Innovation will help Vietnam transform from a labor-intensive economy to a knowledge-based, technology-based, high-value-added economy, helping to increase labor productivity, improve product quality, open up opportunities to participate more deeply in the global value chain and attract quality investment capital.
The article concludes that Vietnam can completely realize its aspiration of becoming a rich and civilized country in the future./.
