On March 10, China launched a new experimental satellite on communications technology into space from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan Province, southwest of the country.
According to the center, the satellite was launched by a Long March-3B rocket at 1:17 a.m. Beijing time (0:17 a.m. Vietnam time) and successfully entered orbit as planned.
The satellite will be used primarily to validate high-speed multi-band telecommunications technology.
The above satellite launch is the 562nd mission of the Truong Chinh rocket./.
