As a pioneer in community service education, Australian International School (AIS Saigon) organized the Forum “Educating the Whole Child: Learning to Serve the Community for a Bright Future”. The forum helped new parents better understand the school’s meaningful curriculum and effective skill development for students.
Mr. Jon Standen, Principal of Australian International School Saigon (AIS) is proud of the quality of education at Australian International School – AIS Saigon.
The Service Learning educational model is officially applied at the school to encourage students to apply the knowledge and skills they have learned into practice, meeting the needs of the community. From there, students develop critical thinking, teamwork, presentation, communication and decision making.
“Through Service Learning activities, AIS students are able to hone their social skills, apply positive philosophies and attitudes when they grow up, find ways to care for others, contribute to the community, and make the world a better place,” said Mr. Jon Standen about Service Learning at AIS Saigon.
The school has 3 inspirational pillars in learning, including: Sports, Academics and Arts to develop students comprehensively, confidently for a bright future.
