Today's gasoline prices, from 3:00 p.m. on March 6, 2025, E5 RON 92 gasoline decreased by 697 VND/liter, RON 95 gasoline decreased by 710 VND/liter; oil prices also decreased sharply.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance has just adjusted the retail price of gasoline and oil in the adjustment period today (March 6). The application time is from 3:00 p.m. on March 6, 2025.

Specifically, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline decreased by 697 VND/liter, down to 19,961 VND/liter; RON 95 gasoline decreased by 710 VND/liter, down to 20,402 VND/liter.
The price of 0.05S diesel oil decreased by 624 VND/liter, down to 18,333 VND/liter; kerosene oil decreased by 762 VND/liter, down to 18,573 VND/liter; the price of 180CST 3.5S mazut oil decreased by 465 VND/kg, down to 17,150 VND/kg.
In this operating period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance did not set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for E5RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene, and mazut oil.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the average price of finished petroleum products in the world between the price adjustment period on February 27, 2025 and the adjustment period on March 6, 2025 is: 80.726 USD/barrel of RON92 gasoline used to blend E5RON92 gasoline (down 4.042 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 4.77%); 82.302 USD/barrel of RON95 gasoline (down 3.824 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 4.44%); 86.710 USD/barrel of kerosene (down 4.490 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 4.92%); 86.544 USD/barrel of 0.05S diesel oil (down 3.686 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 4.09%); 469,034 USD/ton of 180CST 3.5S fuel oil (down 17,200 USD/ton, equivalent to a decrease of 3.54%).
On the world market, at 6:00 a.m. on March 6, the price of WTI oil increased by 0.14 USD, equivalent to 0.21%, to 6.45 USD/barrel. The price of US Brent oil decreased by 1.74 USD, equivalent to 2.45%, to 69.3 USD/barrel.
According to Reuters, while the 25% tariff imposed on Canada and Mexico will remain, the US will consider eliminating the 10% tariff on Canadian energy imports such as crude oil and gasoline, subject to the rules of origin under the US-Mexico-Canada Agreement.
Oil prices were also affected by data from the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) showing that US crude oil inventories rose by 3.6 million barrels to 433.8 million barrels in the week ending February 28, more than 10 times the analysts' expectation of an increase of 341,000 barrels. The increase was due to seasonal refinery maintenance. Gasoline and distillate inventories also fell by 1.4 million barrels and 1.3 million barrels, respectively, due to increased exports, according to the EIA.
Previously, on February 27, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance adjusted the gasoline price downward. Specifically, the price of RON 95 gasoline decreased by VND220/liter, the selling price was VND21,110/liter.
Similarly, the price of E5 gasoline was also adjusted down by VND200/liter, the selling price was VND20,650/liter.
In the same trend, diesel price was adjusted down by 110 VND/liter, selling price at 18,950 VND/liter.
In this operating period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance did not set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for E5RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene, and mazut oil.
