NDO - FPT University officially announced the admission benchmark scores for 2025 through the launch of the SchoolRank 2025 high school student ranking tool on January 20. The trial version of this tool was deployed from January 15-19.
The early announcement of the input quality threshold brings many practical benefits to candidates and parents, especially in the context that 2025 is the first year that the high school graduation exam is organized according to the 2018 General Education Program with many changes.
SchoolRank is a tool that helps 12th grade students in Vietnam easily look up their rankings nationwide. The tool was developed by FPT University based on the ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admission Ranking) methodology, using statistics, predictive algorithms, big data and artificial intelligence.
To use the SchoolRank 2025 tool, students need to access the address: https://schoolrank.fpt.edu.vn/, then enter the total score of grade 11 subjects and semester 1 of grade 12 in the transcript to look up their ranking.
Based on smart algorithms and big data, SchoolRank evaluates each student's learning ability accurately, objectively and fairly, without being influenced by subjective or emotional factors.
SchoolRank lets students know exactly where they stand in the big picture. A high ranking will be a source of motivation to help you confidently continue to conquer new milestones; a low ranking is like a warning that you need to overcome, make efforts and build a more effective learning path to achieve the desired results. At the same time, the ranking results also help students quickly choose the right school and major.
With the launch of the SchoolRank tool, FPT University also announced the admission benchmark for 2025. According to the announced information, the admission benchmark for FPT University in 2025 is based on two criteria: Candidates need to reach the top 50 SchoolRank, which means being in the top 50% of students with the highest high school academic results nationwide; achieve a total score of Math and any two subjects of semester 2, grade 12 from 21 points or higher.
This entry threshold not only ensures the quality of admission but also matches the school's training goals - finding students with good academic ability and the ability to excel in a university environment.
The early announcement of admission scores also brings many practical benefits to students. First of all, they can proactively adjust their learning strategies, focusing on improving their scores in necessary subjects to ensure they meet the admission requirements. This is especially important in the context of the new general education program requiring students to develop comprehensively in both knowledge and skills.
Knowing the admission scores in advance helps candidates reduce the pressure in the application process. Instead of worrying about unclear admission criteria, students can focus on completing their study program and graduation exams.
In 2025, SchoolRank will also be one of the criteria for candidates to have the opportunity to receive valuable scholarships and participate in the financial support policy of FPT University. Accordingly, students in the top 10 will have the opportunity to receive full scholarships for 4 years of study. It is expected that 900 School scholarships will be awarded to students of schools in Region 1 (localities with especially difficult socio-economic conditions according to Government regulations).
