The LG UltraGear is a 49-inch monitor with a 32:9 aspect ratio and a 240Hz refresh rate. It delivers smooth gaming and top-notch picture quality for an immersive gaming experience.
The display features Dual QHD resolution (5120x1440) with a 1000R curvature, providing sharp, vivid images that cover the user's entire field of vision. The combination of the screen's width and 240Hz refresh rate creates a more expansive and responsive in-game environment, making AAA titles more realistic and vivid.
Certified for VESA DisplayHDR 1000, the monitor comes with a 3000:1 contrast ratio and a peak brightness of 1000 nits, producing vivid colors and deep blacks. With a three-sided, near-bezel-less design, the monitor allows users to stay focused, whether it’s their favorite FPS shooter or fantasy open-world game.
Not just for gaming, the LG UltraGear 49GR85DC also offers a range of multitasking features that allow users to take full advantage of its 32:9 aspect ratio display. The new LG UltraGear supports Picture-in-Picture (PIP) and Picture-by-Picture (PBP) modes. PIP mode allows users to display content from a second connected device in a floating window, while PBP mode allows them to work with multiple open windows at the same time by conveniently dividing the screen into two separate sections.
Additionally, the new monitor also offers connectivity via DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1, enhances the gaming experience with Hexagon LED backlighting, and supports DTS Headphone:X; an advanced audio solution that delivers immersive three-dimensional sound over wired headphones.
The device is available now in the US and will launch across Europe this month and in Asia later this year.
