The City Journalists Association continues to be a common home to gather, unite, and connect press agencies, reporters, and editors in the city. Through the activities of the Journalists Association, its branches and inter-branches continue to accompany the city's development, organize propaganda for a series of in-depth, high-quality articles with great influence, winning prizes in the national press competition, the political contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation, contributing more effectively to the rapid development, accelerating the completion of the socio-economic development targets set by the 16th City Party Congress.
At the conference, the Chairman of the City Journalists Association awarded certificates of merit to 1 collective and 22 individuals from branches and inter-branches for their outstanding achievements in participating in the Association's activities in 2024.

Selected from hundreds of press works through the preliminary and final rounds, the Organizing Committee selected 11 excellent works to award prizes, including: 01 First prize, 02 Second prizes, 03 Third prizes and 05 Encouragement prizes.
Building on the success of the 2024 Competition, the Association launched the 2025 Press Competition with the theme "Joining hands to build Hai Phong city to rise up in the new era of the nation".
