Units must develop plans and take the lead in organizing the launch of "Tet tree planting to forever remember Uncle Ho" on the occasion of Uncle Ho's birthday in 2025 and plant trees in the locality and unit.
The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee requires that the organization and launch of the "Tet tree planting festival to forever remember Uncle Ho" must be practical, effective, not ostentatious in form and controlled in terms of scale, time and program content; creating conditions for agencies, organizations, unions, schools, armed forces and all classes of people to participate. After the organization and launch, it is necessary to take good care of and protect the plants and the existing planting area so that the plants can grow and develop well.
In addition, the City People's Committee also assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to preside over and coordinate with the People's Committee of Binh Chanh district and relevant agencies and units to develop and submit to the City People's Committee for approval the Plan to organize the launching ceremony of "Tet tree planting to forever remember Uncle Ho" in 2025 on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of Uncle Ho's birthday.
Regarding the management, development, protection, and prevention and fighting of forest fires, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the People's Committee of Thu Duc City and the districts of Can Gio, Binh Chanh, Cu Chi, and Hoc Mon to direct forest owners to deploy necessary measures according to regulations on forest fire prevention and fighting. Review key forest areas with high risk of fire, and have specific fire prevention and fighting plans.
At the same time, units also need to direct localities with large areas of scattered forestry trees to review key areas and have specific fire prevention and fighting plans for each type of management object.
The City People's Committee assigned the Can Gio District People's Committee to direct its affiliated units to deploy and implement approved projects on forest care, afforestation, and forest regeneration promotion to ensure progress and quality.
At the same time, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment synchronously and effectively implemented the completion of forest investigation tasks according to the plan of the City People's Committee on Investigation and determination of forest status in the city.
