The forest fire in Tuyen Quang covered an area of up to 10 hectares.
As reported by the Agriculture and Environment Newspaper, at noon on March 21, a forest fire broke out in Nghiem Mountain, Hoang Khai Commune, Yen Son District, Tuyen Quang Province. After 9 hours of efforts by the forces, police, army, militia and local people, a firebreak system was formed.
However, due to dry weather, dangerous rocky terrain, and darkness, forest fire fighting was quite difficult.
According to a representative of the forest rangers of Tuyen Quang province, the Nghiem mountain area, Hoang Khai commune, Yen Son district has an area of over 300 hectares of protective forest. Up to this point, the forest fire area is about 10 hectares.
Currently, the functional forces of Tuyen Quang province are regularly on duty at the scene of the fire to put out the fire, while ensuring absolute safety for people when participating in forest fire prevention and fighting.
