The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training has informed about the assignment of positions to candidates who passed the city's civil servant recruitment exam from excellent university graduates and young scientists in 2024.

According to information from Mr. Tong Phuoc Loc, Head of the Department of Organization and Personnel, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, candidate Nguyen Dinh Thu Hien, bachelor of mathematics pedagogy, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, was selected in the city's civil servant recruitment from excellent graduates and young scientists in 2024 and will be assigned to teach at Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted.
Mr. Tong Phuoc Loc, Head of the Department of Organization and Personnel, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, said that civil servants recruited from excellent university graduates and young scientists working at specialized high schools enjoy many preferential policies and are given the opportunity to develop their capacity in teaching, research, and nurturing excellent students for the school and the city.
Specifically, according to the provisions of Decree No. 140/2017/ND-CP, civil servants will enjoy the following preferential policies: Receiving 100% of the salary during the probationary period; Receiving an additional allowance equal to 100% of the salary according to the current salary coefficient for a period of 5 years (the additional allowance is not used to calculate the contribution to compulsory social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance); Receiving salary allowances according to the provisions of current law (preferential allowances); Being given priority in training and fostering basic knowledge of political theory, state management and specialized knowledge of education; Being given priority in performing scientific and technological research tasks, programs, projects, and projects from the school level and above.
In addition, civil servants are also entitled to preferential allowance policies according to the provisions of Joint Circular No. 06/2007/TTLT-BGDĐT-BNV-BTC: Receive an allowance of 70% of the current salary according to the rank and grade for teachers working at specialized high schools...
According to the decision issued on October 28 by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee on approving the results of the city's recruitment of civil servants from excellent graduates and young scientists in 2024, candidate Nguyen Dinh Thu Hien is one of two candidates selected as education civil servants from excellent graduates. The remaining candidate was selected for the position of teaching assistant at Saigon University.
This is the second year that Ho Chi Minh City has recruited city officials from excellent university graduates and young scientists. The 2023-2024 school year is the first year that Ho Chi Minh City has recruited officials from excellent university graduates. As a result, the two candidates who passed the recruitment exam for education officials were assigned by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training to work at Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted and Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted.
