On September 16, at the Presidential Palace, the Office of the President coordinated with the Supreme People's Procuracy to organize the ceremony to announce and present the President's decision to appoint the Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy.

Attending the decision-giving ceremony were comrades: Le Khanh Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Office of the President; Bui Van Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Office of the National Assembly; Hoang Dang Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Organization Committee; Nguyen Huy Tien, Secretary of the Party Personnel Committee, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy, and representatives of leaders of central departments, ministries, branches and units of the Supreme People's Procuracy.

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, General Secretary and President To Lam presented the decision to appoint comrade Ho Duc Anh, Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy, Director of the Department of Prosecution and Investigation of Economic Cases, to hold the position of Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy.

Speaking at the decision-giving ceremony, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, congratulating comrade Ho Duc Anh on being trusted and appointed to the position of Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy, General Secretary and President To Lam affirmed that this is an honor and pride for all cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers of the People's Procuracy at all levels and comrade Ho Duc Anh personally. The General Secretary and President pointed out that in the Vietnamese State apparatus, the People's Procuracy has an extremely important position, role, and task in protecting the law, protecting human rights, citizens' rights, protecting the socialist regime, protecting the interests of the State, and the legitimate rights and interests of organizations and individuals, contributing to ensuring that the law is strictly and consistently enforced. To successfully fulfill the responsibilities, requirements and tasks assigned to him in his new position, the General Secretary and President requested that Comrade Ho Duc Anh continue to cultivate his political mettle, be absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland and the people; maintain revolutionary ethics and professional ethics; be exemplary in complying with and strictly implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; unite, unify and closely connect with cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, the People's Procuracy at all levels and with the people; at the same time, continue to improve his capacity and qualifications in all aspects, actively research, and proactively work with the leadership of the Supreme People's Procuracy to promptly advise the Party and the State to promulgate policies and laws on judicial work and judicial reform.

The General Secretary and President also requested that Comrade Ho Duc Anh make efforts together with the leadership of the Supreme People's Procuracy to innovate all aspects of work, take care of the Party organization to be clean and strong; build a strong and comprehensive People's Procuracy sector and build a team of cadres, civil servants and public employees who are fair, upright, objective, cautious and modest as Uncle Ho taught. The General Secretary and President believes that Comrade Ho Duc Anh will continue to promote the glorious tradition of the Procuracy sector, strive to excellently fulfill the assigned tasks, worthy of the trust of the Party, the State, the people and cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers.

In his acceptance speech, the new Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy, Ho Duc Anh, expressed his gratitude to the Party, the State and the General Secretary and President for entrusting him with the new responsibility; affirming that this is an honor and pride as well as an extremely great responsibility before the Party, the State and the people. Accepting the direction of the General Secretary and President, Ho Duc Anh affirmed that these are the orientations to be able to, together with the Chief Justice and the leadership of the Supreme People's Procuracy, devote all their efforts and minds to performing well the functions and tasks of the sector under the leadership of the Party, the provisions of the Constitution and the law, contributing to meeting the expectations of the Party, the State and the people in the new period.

The new Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy promises to be absolutely loyal to the revolutionary cause of the Party, the State and the people, to constantly cultivate political qualities, moral qualities, lifestyle, study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, first of all, to practice Uncle Ho's teachings for people's procuracy officials to be fair, upright, objective, cautious and modest; to carry out well the Party building work in conjunction with building a clean, strong and comprehensive industry; to maintain discipline and order, to improve capacity, qualifications and leadership methods; to work with the highest sense of responsibility, to closely coordinate with relevant agencies and respectfully listen to opinions to successfully complete assigned tasks.
