Appointing Mr. Le Quang Vinh as General Director of Vietcombank

Mr. Le Quang Vinh, deputy general director in charge of Vietcombank's executive board, has just been appointed general director of this bank since March 7.

Vietcombank has decided to appoint Mr. Le Quang Vinh as general director from March 7, after the bank held an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders to elect him to the board of directors.

Thus, Vietcombank's executive board has been completed, after 8 months of waiting for the appointment of a new general director.

Previously, Vietcombank decided to dismiss Mr. Le Thanh Tung from the position of general director, to elect him as chairman of the board of directors from July 2024.

Mr. Le Quang Vinh was born in 1976, from Hanoi. He has a bachelor's degree in economics, banking and finance, National Economics University; a master's degree in economics, finance, University of New South Wales (Australia).

Mr. Le Quang Vinh has about 26 years of working experience at Vietcombank and holds important positions at this bank.

Accordingly, from December 2017 to July 2024, he was deputy general director. From July 2024 to March 2025, he held the position of deputy general director in charge of Vietcombank's executive board.

With many years of leadership experience in the finance and banking industry, Mr. Le Quang Vinh is expected to make an important contribution to Vietcombank's strategic development orientation in the coming time.
