Nhon Depot Station (Tay Tuu Ward, Bac Tu Liem District, Hanoi) of the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station urban railway project has been completed. After more than 10 years of construction and more than 4 years of assembling train cars, many trains are now running on trial.
With an area of 15 hectares, Nhon Depot - Hanoi Station includes works such as the operating building (OCC), train hangar, maintenance house, electrical engineering and other auxiliary works.

Train maintenance engineers and workers. At the end of 2021, 10 trains of the Nhon - Hanoi station metro project arrived at the Depot. The trains are manufactured according to European standards, the manufacturer is Alstom (France).
The works at the Depot station are completed, just waiting to be put into operation. The Depot project started on January 12, 2013, 7 years after the station was completed.

Currently, the staff of Hanoi Metro Company Limited starts working on the trial operation from 7:45 a.m. and ends at 4:45 p.m. every day (except Saturday and Sunday).
The trial operation is supervised by a number of foreign experts.

The Nhon - Hanoi railway station urban railway section is 12.5 km long, passing through 8 elevated stations and 4 underground stations, of which the elevated section (Nhon - Cau Giay) is 8.5 km long and the underground section (Cau Giay - Hanoi station) is 4 km long.
After several delays, the project is expected to begin serving passengers in July this year. The project's extension has increased costs, with the total proposed investment being VND34,530 billion, an increase of about VND4,905 billion compared to the original estimate.

Train driver test runs on Nhon - Hanoi station metro line. Previously, dozens of train drivers had many courses to operate this train.
To board the train, passengers use a plastic card or coin ticket. Each ticket can only be swiped once when the door opens.

The train is fully equipped with amenities such as air conditioning, ventilation, passenger radio system, camera system, independent fire and smoke detection system, LED lights that automatically adjust the light appropriately when entering the underground section.
The interior of the train is mainly designed in light gray, the handrails for passengers standing on the carriage are red. The train also has priority areas for the disabled, seats for the elderly, women and children.
The station areas along the metro line are decorated and have beautiful scenery.
The train also uses the CBTC (Communication-Based Train Control) signalling solution called URBALIS, which is Alstom's most advanced solution with advantages such as flexible control system structure; optimizing safety and ensuring uninterrupted service provision for passengers.
