Agree to adjust the progress of the Central Vietnam Vien Dong Tourist Area Project

The adjustment of the progress of the Trung Ky Vien Dong tourist area project aims to have a basis for enterprises to continue investing in completing the entire project, promoting the effectiveness of the investment, not wasting land resources, contributing to promoting socio-economic development in the province.

The Provincial People's Committee requested Trung Ky - Vien Dong Real Estate Management and Trading Joint Stock Company to urgently fulfill its obligations regarding the deposit to ensure project implementation.

At the same time, urgently work with the Tax Department of Region XII to fully perform tax obligations and financial obligations on land related to the project and completely handle debts arising during the project implementation (if any); summarize and send all relevant records and documents along with a commitment to complete the project to the Department of Finance for inspection, review and issuance of an adjusted investment registration certificate for the project.

The Provincial People's Committee also requested the company to focus on coordinating with relevant agencies and units to continue to fully implement documents and procedures according to regulations and arrange sufficient resources to continue to implement and complete the project to ensure progress and promote investment efficiency.

Previously, due to difficulties in site clearance and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, in June 2022, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province also adjusted the completion schedule, putting the project into official operation by March 2024, but to date the project has not been completed.
