Morning

From 08:00 to 09:00: Under the direction of Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh, the National Assembly held a plenary session in the hall to listen to the following contents:

- Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan presented a report on the proposal to ratify the document of accession to the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

- Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien, authorized by the Prime Minister, presented the explanatory report on the document of accession to the CPTPP Agreement of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

- Chairman of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee Vu Hai Ha presented the Verification Report on the ratification of the document of accession to the CPTPP Agreement by the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Afterwards, the National Assembly discussed this content in the hall. At the discussion session, 5 National Assembly delegates expressed their opinions.

Delegates said that the documents submitted to the National Assembly were fully, thoughtfully, in detail, and within the authority; assessed that the ratification of the document of accession to the CPTPP Agreement by the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland would bring many benefits to Vietnam and agreed that the National Assembly should issue a Resolution to ratify the document right at this Session.

Delegates suggested that the National Assembly Standing Committee coordinate with the Government and relevant agencies to continue completing procedures to submit to the National Assembly for approval of the Resolution approving the document at the end of the Session; at the same time, assign the Government to urgently amend, supplement, develop new, and complete necessary legal documents of the Government, the Prime Minister, ministries, branches, and localities to promote advantages, overcome difficulties and challenges to comprehensively promote international cooperation, promote socio-economic development, and ensure national security and defense after the National Assembly ratifies the document on joining the agreement.

From 9:00 a.m.: The National Assembly discussed in groups: Draft Law on Prevention and Combat of Human Trafficking (amended); Draft Law on Juvenile Justice.

Afternoon:

From 14:00 to 14:30: Under the direction of Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh, the National Assembly will conduct the following activities:

The National Assembly listened to Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for Law Hoang Thanh Tung present a Report explaining, accepting and revising the draft Resolution on the 2025 Ordinance-making Program, adjusting the 2024 Law and Ordinance-making Program.

The National Assembly then voted to pass the Resolution by unanimous vote. The results were as follows: 465 delegates participated in the vote (equal to 95.48% of the total number of National Assembly delegates), of which 463 delegates approved (equal to 95.07% of the total number of National Assembly delegates). There were 2 delegates who did not vote (equal to 0.41% of the total number of National Assembly delegates).

The National Assembly listened to the presentation of the Report on explanation, acceptance and revision of the draft Resolution on the National Assembly's Supervision Program in 2025 by member of the National Assembly Standing Committee and Secretary General of the National Assembly Bui Van Cuong. The National Assembly then voted to pass the Resolution by electronic voting.

The results are as follows: 467 delegates participated in the vote (equal to 95.89% of the total number of National Assembly delegates); of which 466 delegates approved (equal to 95.69% of the total number of National Assembly delegates). There was 1 delegate who did not vote (equal to 0.21% of the total number of National Assembly delegates).

From 2:30 p.m.: The National Assembly discussed in groups: Investment policy for the National Target Program on Cultural Development for the 2025-2035 period; Draft Law on Trade Unions (amended).

* From June 9 to June 16, the National Assembly will be on recess so that National Assembly agencies, the Government and relevant agencies can absorb, revise and complete draft laws and draft resolutions.
