Currently, cold air has affected most places in Hue City causing rain, moderate rain, scattered heavy rain, some places very heavy rain and thunderstorms. On land, there are gusts of wind level 6, coastal areas gusts of wind level 7-8. Total rainfall from 7pm on April 12 to 8am on April 13 in Hue City is commonly 40-70mm, some places are higher.

According to a quick report from the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control, heavy rain and strong winds have caused 1,321 hectares of rice to fall; of which: Phong Dien Town has 588 hectares, Quang Dien District has 512 hectares, Huong Tra Town has 150 hectares, and Phu Xuan District has 71 hectares.
