In the spirit of effectively implementing Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the Central Executive Committee on continuing to innovate and streamline the organization and apparatus for effective and efficient operation, the health sectors of both sides shared initial results in reviewing and assessing the current status of the health sector's organization and apparatus in the locality; provided comments on the plan to build a merger project to ensure suitability and ensure professional work; discussed and agreed on the names of the units after the merger to ensure continuity and conformity with the functions, tasks and general organizational model of the health sector.

Delegates also contributed to the organization of the apparatus within each unit; orientation of functions and tasks after the merger; proposed plans to arrange staff and civil servants to ensure organizational stability and avoid major disruptions in professional activities.

At the end of the working session, the leaders of the two departments agreed on the contents of completing the draft merger project to report to the leaders of the People's Committees of the two provinces for consideration and comments before completion.

The two sides also agreed to continue exchanging information and closely coordinating in the implementation of the next steps, ensuring progress, quality and suitability to the actual situation of each locality. Thereby contributing to building an increasingly streamlined and effective local health system, meeting the requirements of protecting and caring for people's health in the new situation.
