Trang An Festival 2025 - Spreading the value of a thousand-year heritage

NDO - With the theme "Trang An - a thousand-year heritage of the sacred soul of mountains and rivers", the Trang An Festival 2025 will take place on April 13 (ie March 16 of the lunar calendar, year of the Snake). This unique cultural event brings together more than 600 artists and actors from all over the country; performing on 20 live stages. This is an opportunity to honor the long-standing cultural values associated with the sacred land, which is considered an "outdoor geological museum" and "the sacred capital of the ancient Vietnamese".

After more than a decade of being recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage, Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex is not only the pride of Ninh Binh people but also a vivid symbol of Vietnam's responsible commitment to implementing the UNESCO Convention on the Protection of World Heritage.

Recently, the Institute of Settlement Research, the National Institute of Urban and Rural Planning, the Santagata Foundation, the Leibniz Institute for Urban Ecology and Regional Development, and the University of Economics (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) have evaluated the value of the Trang An World Heritage Site at 213 billion USD.

This year's art program brings a diverse and rich performance space with unique traditional art forms such as: Bac Ninh Quan Ho with smooth and affectionate lyrics; Hue royal court music, the solemn echoes of the royal court; Central Highlands gongs, the deep sounds of the great forest; Kim Son drums resounding across the land and sky; along with Cheo singing, Xam singing, Red Dao dance, Lo Lo ethnic dance... All create a cultural concert imbued with the national soul.

A representative of Xuan Truong Enterprise, the unit managing and exploiting Trang An complex, shared: "We clearly define our role as not only preserving the landscape and heritage values, but also contributing to improving community life and promoting sustainable tourism development on the basis of preserving the original values of Trang An."
