This year, the Organizing Committee of the Contest received 187 entries. Of which, primary schools had 57 entries, secondary schools 63 entries, high schools 61 entries, vocational training centers and continuing education centers 4 entries, and colleges and clubs 2 entries. The entries were in 5 areas: Learning materials (43 entries); computer software (24 entries); environmentally friendly products (54 entries); household appliances and children's toys (30 entries); technical solutions to respond to climate change, protect the environment and develop the economy (36 entries).
According to the general assessment, this year's Contest recorded a remarkable progress in both quantity and quality when 187 topics were selected through rounds from 9 districts, towns, high schools, vocational training centers, clubs, and colleges. These are typical topics, the results of research and creativity of the city's youth and children. They have demonstrated their talents, knowing how to apply knowledge from school and the process of self-discovery, research, and application of science and technology to solve practical, creative, and effective problems to contribute to the implementation of science - technology, innovation, and digital transformation goals. This Contest also aims to select products and models to participate in the National Youth and Children's Creativity Contest.

Mr. Ho Dac Thai Hoang, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Contest, said that after 18 implementations, the Contest has attracted 1,754 topics from teenagers and children, and many topics have won high prizes nationally and internationally. The Contest has become a useful intellectual playground for teenagers and children, opening up a new form of teaching and learning - learning linked to reality, linked to research - creativity, helping children get acquainted with the thinking methods and working methods of scientists and develop their capacity.
The research topics, scientific, technological and engineering innovations of students have known how to apply the knowledge they have learned to solve practical problems in life and study... In particular, many contest topics have new, unique, creative scientific ideas, applying artificial intelligence (AI) and suitable for the digital age. Thereby, contributing to building Hue into a high-quality education and training center - science and technology and implementing Resolution 57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.
