Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Hong presented the Decision on transfer and appointment of comrade Nguyen Thi Dam, Director of the State Bank of Vietnam Tien Giang Branch to hold the position of Deputy Director of the State Bank of Vietnam Branch Region 13.

Based on the requirements and tasks of the State Bank, the specific nature of its operations, and the large and complex management objects (credit institutions and People's Credit Funds), in order to ensure the full implementation of the State management function on currency, banking and foreign exchange activities, and the implementation of the Central Bank function of the State Bank for the economy in the provinces and cities, the State Bank has completed the reorganization of 63 State Bank branches in provinces and cities into 15 Regional State Bank branches, ensuring the implementation of State management, payment activities, monetary security, and treasury for the banking system.
Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Hong presented the Decision on transfer and appointment of Deputy Directors of the State Bank of Vietnam Branch Region 13 and Director of the State Bank of Vietnam Branch Region 13 Pham Minh Tu presented congratulatory flowers.
The conference announced the Decision to establish and launch the State Bank of Vietnam Branch Region 13 on the basis of merging the State Bank branches of 4 provinces: Tien Giang, Long An, Ben Tre and Tra Vinh. The State Bank of Vietnam Branch Region 13 will come into operation from March 1, 2025; its head office is located in My Tho city (Tien Giang province) and 3 transaction points in the remaining provinces.
The Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam has decided to appoint the Director, Deputy Director, Head of Department, Deputy Head of Department of the State Bank of Vietnam Branch Region 13 from March 1, 2025.
Specifically: Mobilize and appoint comrade Pham Minh Tu, Deputy Director of the Banking Strategy Institute to hold the position of Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Branch Region 13. Regarding the Deputy Directors of the State Bank of Vietnam, Branch Region 13, the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam has decided to mobilize and appoint comrades: Nguyen Thi Dam, Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Tien Giang Province Branch; Le Van Hai, Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Tra Vinh Province Branch; Le Cong Thanh, Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Ben Tre Province Branch; comrade Le Thi My Hien, Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Long An Province Branch.
Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Hong presented flowers to congratulate the State Bank of Vietnam, Region 13 Branch.
Speaking at the conference, Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Hong said that the restructuring of the State Bank's apparatus, including 15 regional banks, is the result of serious and drastic efforts by the SBV's Board of Directors and Steering Committee, implementing the consistent directions of the Central Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat on implementing the apparatus streamlining revolution, which is a key, urgent task, of special significance to the country's development in the new era.

In the coming time, the State Bank will continue to implement related tasks to ensure progress, quality and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management, meeting the requirements of the Central Steering Committee and the Government Steering Committee.
