On the morning of March 22, the organizing committee announced that all tickets for the Vietnam-Laos match in the final qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup, taking place at 7:30 p.m. on March 25 at Go Dau Stadium (Binh Duong), were sold out. All 11,000 tickets (including invitation tickets) were allocated and sold out.
Tickets for the match are priced at VND200,000 and VND400,000, and are sold online (in two batches) and directly at the counter. Each person can buy a maximum of 4 tickets at a time.
Unlike the tickets for the friendly match between Vietnam and Cambodia (played on March 19) which were sold out rather slowly and only about 70% were sold, the tickets for the Vietnam-Laos match were sold out very quickly because fans were more interested in the official match between coach Kim Sang Sik and his team. Accordingly, four days before the match, the tickets were sold out. The organizers said that 9,700 tickets had been sold out.
Fans in Binh Duong in particular and the South in general have not seen the Vietnamese team compete for a long time. Therefore, the attraction of the Vietnamese team here is very large.
Unable to find official tickets, fans had to look for black market tickets for the Vietnam - Laos match. But the black market prices were not cheap, 3-4 times higher than the original price.
The Vietnamese team had a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Cambodia in a friendly match in Binh Duong. And now coach Kim Sang Sik and his team are expected to play better in the match against Laos in the final qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup.
Speaking before the match, young striker Bui Vi Hao of B.Binh Duong Club and Vietnam national team hopes to score a goal against Laos team to give to the fans: "I hope to be on the field, and if I can score, it will be a wonderful gift for Binh Duong fans as well as fans across the country."
