“New Day on Bom Bo Hamlet” is an epic art program, recreating a Bom Bo rich in revolutionary tradition with the sound of pounding rice to feed the army of the Stieng ethnic group during the resistance war against the US to save the country, which has gone down in national history. With scenes simulating the life and activities of the Stieng community, the program is a bridge connecting the past with the present and the future, sending a message of preserving and promoting the cultural identity of the Stieng people through traditional brocade costumes.

Designer Minh Hanh, the program's general director, shared: “I have a very deep impression and memory of Bom Bo. Today's story is about how to support the brocade of the Stieng people, bringing the Stieng people's belief into brocade so that brocade has a new life, thereby helping people improve their livelihoods. We need to be responsible for creating the breath of the times in brocade. People cannot wear or use the original in their daily lives. Therefore, we try to modernize but still retain the unique features of all regions because those unique features are the heritage value of the region.”
