Implementing emulation and reward work in 2025

2024 is the year of the 16th Provincial Party Congress. This is also the year Lao Cai province faces many difficulties and challenges. However, with the solidarity and consensus of the entire political system, the people in the province and the attention of the Central Government, Lao Cai has achieved many very encouraging and quite comprehensive results in all fields.

The industrial economy began to recover; the total number of visitors to the locality reached nearly 8 million; the state budget revenue reached a record high of 12,989 billion VND; the disbursement rate of public investment capital was among the top in the country; many important indicators in administrative reform were improved, Lao Cai was also the first province in the country to universalize preschool education for 4-year-old children and achieved many successes in the fields of health and social security. During the year, emulation movements also took place vigorously with the theme: "Solidarity - Discipline - Action - Efficiency - Development".

Speaking at the conference, Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trinh Xuan Truong emphasized that in 2025, Lao Cai will face new opportunities and advantages, intertwined with difficulties and challenges. He requested that each cadre, party member and citizen make greater efforts and continue to promote patriotic emulation movements with the highest determination.

At the conference, authorized by the President, the Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded the First Class Labor Medal to the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council, Mr. Vu Xuan Cuong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Mr. Nguyen Huy Long - Director of Huy Long General Mechanical Company Limited for their outstanding achievements contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.

On this occasion, 40 individuals were honored to receive the Second and Third Class Labor Medals from the President; 25 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister; The Provincial People's Committee awarded Emulation Flags to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement in 2024.

Next, Comrade Vu Van Cai, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council launched the emulation movement in 2025. Comrade Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council Trinh Xuan Truong presented rotating flags to representatives of the emulation blocs.
