(HNMO) - On the evening of June 19, a convincing victory over Phong Phu Ha Nam helped Thai Son Nam Ho Chi Minh City win the 2023 National Women's Futsal Championship.
After a tense round-robin, the two teams that made it to the finals were Thai Son Nam Ho Chi Minh City and Phong Phu Ha Nam. Rated higher than their opponents, Thai Son Nam Ho Chi Minh City tried to push up their squad and dominate the game on the field.
On the other side of the front line, Phong Phu Ha Nam calmly defended in their home field. In the first 10 minutes, the home team caused Thai Son Nam Ho Chi Minh City a lot of trouble. Even Thuy Linh and Nguyen Thi Quynh had opportunities to score but they could not take advantage.

Thai Son Nam Ho Chi Minh City officially became the champion of the 2023 National Women's Futsal Championship.
In the third place match, Ho Chi Minh City faced Hanoi. The match was exciting and Ho Chi Minh City was the team to take the lead. In the 5th minute, Hoang Thi Nuong opened the score for the southern team. Despite the favorable situation, Ho Chi Minh City was unexpectedly equalized by Hanoi when Thanh Tam scored an own goal at the end of the first half. However, Thanh Nhu's beautiful goal in the second half brought victory to Ho Chi Minh City and the bronze medal.
In the final result, Thai Son Nam Club of Ho Chi Minh City won the championship; Phong Phu Ha Nam Club won the runner-up position; and Ho Chi Minh City Club ranked third.
In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded the Style Award to Thai Son Nam Club in Ho Chi Minh City. The titles of Best Player of the tournament went to Trinh Nguyen Thanh Hang (No. 9, Thai Son Nam Club in Ho Chi Minh City); Player with the most goals went to Dinh Thi Ngoc Han (No. 11, Thai Son Nam Club in Ho Chi Minh City); Best Goalkeeper went to Ngo Nguyen Thuy Linh (No. 16, Thai Son Nam Club in Ho Chi Minh City).
