The world's leading wind power equipment manufacturer CS Wind (Korea) has signed a memorandum of understanding to lease land to invest in a 200 million USD factory in the Long An international port cluster.

On September 10, at Long An International Port (Tan Tap Commune, Can Giuoc District, Long An), Dong Tam Group signed a memorandum of understanding on investment cooperation with CS Wind Group (Korea) on land lease to implement a wind power equipment manufacturing factory project.
According to this agreement, CS Wind will cooperate closely with Dong Tam Group to locate the factory in Long An Southeast Asia Industrial Park, part of the Long An International Port project cluster.
Specifically, Dong Tam Group will lease 50 hectares of industrial land and industrial services to build factories and assembly yards for offshore and onshore wind tower equipment, wind power products such as monopiles, transition equipment, etc. to supply the global market.
The factory is expected to be invested in the first phase with a total capital of 200 million USD.
Operating capacity up to tens of thousands of units per year to supply oversized and overweight equipment from 500 - 4,000 tons per device.
The investor also said that 100% of equipment and accessories in the first phase will be imported and exported through Long An International Port, estimated at 150,000 - 200,000 tons/year.
