On the evening of March 19, thousands of fans slowly flocked to Binh Duong Stadium to watch the friendly match between Vietnam and Cambodia. 90 minutes before the match, the audience was still outside the stadium.
Meanwhile, striker Tien Linh's father was also outside the stadium waiting to give tickets to an acquaintance. While waiting, Mr. Tien Quyen received the list of players for the Vietnam team. Accordingly, Tien Linh was on the bench.
"I hope he enters the field in the second half and scores. Today, I wore my lucky shirt several times to watch Binh Duong FC play. I hope Tien Linh will score in this match," said Mr. Quyen.
Standing in front of the gate of stand A, Tien Linh's father was easily recognized by fans and asked to take pictures with him.
Mr. Kien Cuong (Song Lam Nghe An fan), a special fan, also came to the stadium and took a photo with Tien Linh's father. Mr. Kien Cuong used crutches to go to watch but did not have a ticket.
It has been a long time since Binh Duong Stadium welcomed a large crowd for the Vietnam national team. The last time the team visited Thu Dau Mot was under coach Park Hang Seo, but that was only for training.

Ms. Bay, a souvenir seller at Binh Duong Stadium, said: "I came here from Thu Duc to sell to earn extra income. At first, my husband and I planned to sell bread, but in the end we had to switch to selling flags."
A red headband with a yellow star printed on it costs 20,000 VND, a vuvuzela costs 40,000 to 60,000 VND. She sells hand-held flags for 20,000 VND each.
A large number of fans came to the stadium, but very few wore red shirts or other Vietnamese national team uniforms. Most still wore comfortable clothes, doing their daily activities as if they were going to work.
After the friendly match with the Cambodian team, the Vietnamese team will host the Lao team in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers in Group F, also at Binh Duong Stadium on March 25.
