Thai Nhan Nhin (born in 1990, from Kien Giang) is a familiar name in the Gojek driver community. This "warrior" is affectionately called Thai by everyone. He is currently leading a Gojek driver partner community on social networks with nearly 700 members, and is also the administrator of a similar online group with more than 10,000 members.

Mr. Thai said he got into the profession in 2018, when he was working as a delivery coordinator for a company and also registered to drive on the Gojek app, which was then called GoViet. In 2022, after a few incidents, he decided to become a full-time driver to have a stable income.
Mr. Thai shared that when he first started his career, he had no experience, his working hours were unstable, so his income was unstable. After a long time of practice, Mr. Thai gradually understood how a technology-based ride-hailing app works, and from there, he came up with his own ways to drive to have a stable number of orders and maintain a good income.
"During the month, there were days when I ran continuously but my peak income was only a few hundred thousand because I ignored short-distance orders. After that, I started choosing a fixed time frame and running all orders received from customers, registering to run at a higher revenue level to receive more food delivery orders," the 34-year-old driver shared.
Mr. Thai said, after a month, I noticed that the number of orders increased, income improved, so I started sharing experiences on groups, creating a small group with brothers, especially night drivers to support each other. Later, many brothers joined, everyone shared experiences to support drivers who were not driving well or new drivers. From then on, many people knew and joined our group, the number of members increased.
In order for the group to function well and support each other properly, Mr. Thai set some rules such as no arguing with each other, no regional discrimination, no disclosure of customer information. He is also willing to share experiences with new colleagues, and is proud that many of them have been included in the company's golden achievements list, helping them improve their lives significantly. In addition to sharing experiences, the group of technology drivers created by Mr. Thai also supports each other, sharing their journeys directly during night driving to be able to support each other in a timely manner because this time frame is inherently more risky.
Mr. Thai recalled a case where a driver in the group had an accident in the middle of the night. At that time, the driver reported to the group with a photo of the damaged vehicle. Upon seeing the news, the brothers in the neighboring area quickly ran over to verify the incident and together called for everyone's support. Just like that, the driver brothers gradually became long-distance comrades, ready to help each other when facing difficulties.
Not only that, Mr. Thai also offers free rides to customers with special circumstances such as the blind, lottery ticket sellers, and spreads this humanitarian spirit to the drivers around him, because according to him, he makes money easier than them. Also because of his enthusiasm, support, and sharing in the profession, Mr. Thai is loved by the Gojek driver community.
Secrets to increasing orders on Gojek
This driver from Kien Giang shared that in the past 5 years, he has only cooperated with Gojek, because Gojek has an effective way of operating, creating a stable source of income. Compared to other companies, Gojek is still easy for drivers to operate because it does not divide food delivery, delivery, and passenger transport services separately.
This helps drivers operate more flexibly and easily receive more orders than if they were only allowed to choose one service to operate. The app has more useful features for drivers than before, Mr. Thai said.

During difficult times, Mr. Thai said that his order volume remained stable thanks to three key factors. The first is choosing a fixed operating time frame and trying to run peak periods such as: morning peak with travel demand, noon peak with high demand for food orders, afternoon peak with students finishing school, employees finishing work...
The second secret is not to abandon orders but to run all orders received from customers, except in cases of force majeure that force cancellation. Finally, drivers must focus on service to get positive reviews from customers, because receiving many 5-star reviews and positive comments from users will help drivers get more orders. He also confided that to get 5-star reviews, drivers need to behave professionally, listen to customers, keep the car clean, and dress politely and neatly...
In addition, Mr. Thai also advised new drivers to only maintain a moderate level of running time every day. If drivers try too hard, they will easily encounter health problems and lack of endurance, leading to a lack of time to operate on the application and not bringing efficiency.
When asked about his plans for the new year, he said that he would stick with Gojek for now, because the company not only helps him maintain a stable income, but also has activities that care about his drivers. Thanks to that, he not only feels secure in his driving, but also maintains his enthusiasm and inspires, together building a civilized community of technology drivers, bringing quality services to users.
