To achieve the set plan goals, Song Cau Town has focused on implementing many solutions, including identifying a group of 4 breakthrough solutions: Continuing to innovate, improving the quality and efficiency of personnel work; promoting the advantages of the marine economy, especially Xuan Dai Bay National Tourist Area; focusing on synchronously building infrastructure and developing urban space, building a green, clean, and beautiful Song Cau Town.
With the identified goal, Song Cau Town takes Xuan Dai Bay and Tam Giang River as the center, expanding the urban space to the north and northwest; upgrading and expanding the main traffic axes to create connections and highlights between urban areas. Along Cu Mong lagoon and the downstream of Tam Giang River, with a location likened to the heart of the city, is planned to form vibrant concentrated residential areas and build green, clean and beautiful landscapes.
Specifically, the town has been focusing on investing and upgrading coastal roads such as: Tran Phu, Pham Van Dong, Vo Thi Sau and main roads of communes expected to be established as wards. The coastal road from Xuan Dai to Xuan Phuong commune; the road along Xuan Dai bay and the roads to tourist areas have also been gradually invested, upgraded and expanded, creating conditions to attract investment projects, develop tourism and services.

To expand urban space, Song Cau Town focuses on investing in new residential areas and urban areas such as: Le Uyen, Xuan Dai, Xuan Phu, Xuan Canh, Xuan Hai, Xuan Thinh, Xuan Loc, Xuan Phuong; prioritizes the construction of infrastructure for 5 communes oriented to become wards, especially the traffic infrastructure system, electricity, water, public lighting system, urban wastewater treatment, solid waste collection... at the same time, speeds up the implementation and completion of key projects and works. Focus on developing urban trees, lakes, public spaces, creating landscapes and improving the ecological environment, creating highlights in landscapes, urban space architecture associated with the effective implementation of the Provincial Party Committee's Action Program on strengthening environmental protection, striving to build Phu Yen province by 2025 to become a green, clean, beautiful, and environmentally friendly destination.
