Preliminary round of the 2025 Hoa Ban Beauty Contest

On the morning of March 15, 2025, at the Dien Bien Phu Cultural Exchange and Tourism Information Center, 19 contestants of the Hoa Ban Beauty Contest 2025 entered the preliminary round with many exciting and attractive performances; attracting a large number of people in the province and tourists from all over to watch and cheer.

In the preliminary round, the contestants took turns showing off their skills in Ao Dai, traditional national costumes, swimsuits and their talents. After a period of serious training with the coach and careful preparation, the contestants confidently completed their competitions well.

The swimsuit performance attracted the audience's attention when the contestants showed off their physical advantages, showing off their youthful and healthy features. With the performance in Ao Dai and traditional ethnic costumes, the contestants became gentle and graceful, but still exuded the dynamism of the youth of the ethnic groups of Dien Bien - Northwest in the period of integration and development.

Interspersed with the costume contests was a talent contest with 19 performances in many genres: dance, singing, modern dance, presentation. The performances were carefully invested by the contestants in terms of costumes, props, stage... bringing the audience to pictures of joyful life, diverse cultural colors. Not only talent, confidence on stage, but through each performance, the contestants expressed national pride, respect for traditional values and praised the beauty of the Ban flower, the beauty of the land and people of Dien Bien - Northwest.

The Ban Flower Beauty Contest is one of the attractive highlights of the 2025 Ban Flower Festival and the 8th Dien Bien Province Ethnic Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival. That attraction is shown in the applause, support and follow-up of a large number of people in the province and tourists from all over the country from the beginning to the end of the preliminary round. In addition, the elaborate investment in stage, sound, lighting and the confident performances of the contestants also contributed to the success and left a good impression on the audience.

After the preliminary round, the contestants will continue to practice for the final night and participate in many activities within the framework of the 2025 Hoa Ban Festival. The final night of the "Hoa Ban Beauty" contest will take place at 8:00 p.m. on March 16 at Dien Bien Phu Provincial Stadium, including 4 competitions: Traditional costumes of ethnic groups; evening gown, swimsuit and behavioral competition. The behavioral competition will be reserved for the 5 contestants with the best performances./.
