Implementing the tasks and solutions on grassroots health care and preventive medicine stipulated in Resolution No. 99/2023 of the National Assembly, the Department of Health has advised the Provincial People's Committee to issue guiding documents and instructions on continuing to consolidate, improve and enhance the quality of grassroots health care activities in the new situation. Strengthening the application of technology software to manage medical statistics, manage infectious disease reports, manage expanded immunization, etc.
Overview of the working session.
At the meeting, the Department of Health made a number of recommendations to improve the effectiveness of implementing policies and laws on grassroots health and preventive medicine, such as: increasing the number of doctors for health stations; having preferential policies to attract and train highly qualified and skilled health workers to work in the province; and policies for health workers working in villages and hamlets.
Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Committee for Culture and Society Nguyen Hoang Mai (photo above) acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by the Lao Cai Health sector, and requested the sector to continue to effectively maintain support activities to improve professional capacity for grassroots health care; and effectively carry out disease monitoring, prevention and control.
The recommendations proposed at the working session will be received, synthesized, and advised by the delegation to the Committee in formulating legal policies in the coming time.
