Da Nang City was awarded the First Class Labor Medal.

Considering the proposal of the Prime Minister in Submission No. 303/TTr-TTg dated March 17, 2025, President Luong Cuong decided to award the First Class Labor Medal to the Party Committee, government and people of Da Nang city for “Outstanding achievements in digital transformation, tourism development, social security, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland”. The decision takes effect from the date of signing.

This is a great pride and honor for the Party Committee, government and people of the city, especially more meaningful in the exciting and joyful atmosphere of the whole city towards the activities to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Da Nang City Party Committee (March 28, 1930 - March 28, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Da Nang City (March 29, 1975 - March 29, 2025).

Specifically, organizing activities to show gratitude, pay tribute, lay wreaths, visit and offer incense at the City's Martyrs' Memorial and Cemetery; visiting and presenting gifts to some families with meritorious services, former comrades of the Quang Da Special Zone Party Committee who participated in directing the liberation; visiting friendly localities that supported and contributed to the liberation of Da Nang. Organizing meetings with Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, meritorious people and typical families with meritorious services in Da Nang city.

Launching a campaign to support the construction of 100 Great Solidarity houses for poor households and households in especially difficult circumstances in the Quang Nam - Da Nang Revolutionary Base during the resistance war. Supporting Quang Nam province in investing in renovating the national historical relic of Quang Da Special Zone Party Committee Base in Hon Tau, Duy Xuyen district, Quang Nam province.

Support activities to commemorate the traditional Liaison Committees of the armed forces during the resistance war in Da Nang city and delegations to revisit old battlefields. Support the construction of traditional houses and memorial stele of the Women's Union of Liberation Zone 5. Activities to repay gratitude and social security of the city's youth.

Organize the installation of signs, technical traffic opening of Quang Da bridge and the approach road; installation of signs for the project of Renovation and upgrading of 42 Bach Dang facility to build Da Nang Museum; installation of signs for the project of Social housing for people with revolutionary contributions on Vu Mong Nguyen street. Commencement of the project of upgrading and renovating 29/3 park; renovation of drainage system and underground laying of information cables, lighting on 4 inner-city roads (Phan Chau Trinh, Le Loi, Hoang Dieu, Ong Ich Khiem); upgrading and renovating Ngu Hanh Son District Medical Center. Organize the announcement ceremony of the project of Uncle Ho Statue in the campus of Da Nang General Science Library.

The ceremony to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Da Nang City Party Committee (March 28, 1930 - March 28, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Da Nang City (March 29, 1975 - March 29, 2025) was held on the morning of March 29, 2025 at Tien Son Sports Palace with about 4,000 delegates attending.
