- On the afternoon of March 18, An Giang Central General Hospital organized the celebration of Vietnam Social Work Day (March 25).

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Duy Tan praised and highly appreciated the results of the hospital's Social Work Department in recent times, which has successfully fulfilled its mission of connecting love, supporting patients in difficult circumstances and spreading humane values ​​in the community. At the same time, he thanked and believed that with the support of benefactors, the hospital's social work will continue to develop.

In 2024, the Social Work Department of An Giang Central General Hospital will receive and implement the process of registering for outpatient health insurance examination for patients through the application of health insurance cards, citizen identification cards, hospital discharge papers, etc., bringing satisfaction to patients, by shortening the waiting time for relatives and patients to come for examination and treatment at the Examination Department.

At the same time, implement initiatives, improve the process for queue numbers and receive patients for examination and outpatient treatment at the Examination Department. Organize 5 rounds of the "Free Charity Booth" program and free haircuts for relatives of patients being treated at the hospital, with a total cost of more than 200 million VND from contributions from hospital staff and other benefactors.

At the same time, connecting philanthropists to support nearly 900 million VND for patients in difficult circumstances who are being treated at the hospital. Consulting and registering for medical examination via hotline 857; consulting on medical examination and treatment procedures via phone, fanpage, consulting patients before entering the hospital...
