Dak Lak continues to accompany the development of mechanisms and policies to support the business community.

On the afternoon of March 21, the Dak Lak Provincial Business Association held a conference to review activities in 2024 and deploy tasks in 2025. Mr. Huynh Van Dung - Chairman of the Association chaired the conference.

Also attending the conference were Mr. Truong Cong Thai - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of Departments, branches, district-level associations, and member enterprises.

Conference delegates

The Provincial Business Association currently has 584 members. Of these, 244 are enterprises directly managed by the HHDN. Associations affiliated to the Association include: Ea Kar Business Association with 215 members; Ea'Hleo Business Association with 52 members; Cu M'gar Business Association with 73 members. In 2024-2025, the Association will admit 22 new members.

In recent times, the Association has reviewed the number of active members, strengthened the development of new members, built relationships, interacted, and connected with district and town business associations to create cohesion in the province's socio-economic development activities; coordinated with training units to improve business administration knowledge; management skills for business leaders in Dak Lak province.

The Association has established and put into operation the Digital Transformation and Connection Center with the aim of supporting raising awareness of digital transformation of enterprises and maintaining the connection of Dak Lak Provincial Business Association with technology partners. The Center has maintained and updated information on digital technology to member enterprises through the Association's digital channels such as Website, Fanpage and Zalo to help enterprises grasp the latest information on technology trends and apply them to business activities, thereby improving the competitiveness of enterprises.

In March 2024, the Dak Lak Provincial Business Association established a Social Security Board to mobilize, propagate and organize social security and volunteer work to support disadvantaged students with a total value of more than 2 billion VND. Mobilizing members, businesses and entrepreneurs to contribute to support the Northern people affected by natural disasters through the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Dak Lak, directly transporting items to the highland provinces with a value of 424 million VND, mobilizing businesses and entrepreneurs to contribute 534 million VND in cash.

Regarding trade and investment promotion activities, the Association has coordinated with the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Trade Promotion Center - Department of Industry and Trade of Dak Lak to organize for members to participate in a series of trade connection, promotion and exchange events such as the week of connecting supply and demand for consumption of Dak Lak products in Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Thuan and Tay Ninh; Create conditions for members to join the province's working delegation to visit and work in Mongolia; attend fairs and promote trade in Guangzhou, China and participate in trade promotion delegations in Korea.

In 2025, the Association will focus on innovation, further improving operational efficiency, and playing a good role as a bridge between businesses and state management agencies. Coordinate with departments, branches, and localities to propose difficulties and obstacles of the business community, and propose relevant agencies to promptly resolve them, creating favorable conditions for business development.

Review and improve the organization under the Association/Association to improve operational efficiency, promote the role, promote initiative, responsibility, and enthusiasm in connecting and supporting businesses. Proactively build and determine the direction of association, joint ventures and cooperation in production and consumption of products on the basis of voluntary participation of members.

Continue to orient and mobilize the business community to link up and use each other's products and services to promote the exploitation of the local market to produce many highly competitive products, meet domestic consumption and export needs, and form the awareness that Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods.

Promote the dissemination of practical benefits when establishing a business, policies to support small and medium enterprises, access to capital, property mortgage rights, especially transparency and legal status in transactions with domestic and foreign partners...

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Truong Cong Thai - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the business community in the province has been increasingly developing and reaching out to the region and the world, actively contributing to the socio-economic development, joining hands for the social security of the province.

In the coming time, it is recommended that the Provincial Business Association continue to promote its role as a bridge between the Party Committee, government, organizations and businesses, a place to gather solidarity for the development and interests of members, build a team of entrepreneurs with both heart and vision, contributing to the development of the province and the country.

Promote the role of self-reliance, self-improvement and solidarity in the business community; master the law, be dynamic and proactive in seeking and developing markets; proactively remove difficulties and obstacles; constantly learn to improve management skills, and apply advanced science and technology to production and business activities.

Focus on building brands and improving business ethics. At the same time, actively participate in responding to and implementing the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese products"; actively participate in social, humanitarian, charitable and social security activities in the province.

The Provincial People's Committee pledges to always accompany the business community; fully implement mechanisms and policies to support businesses in accordance with the law and promptly remove difficulties and obstacles and be ready to listen to and accept legitimate suggestions and recommendations from businesses.
