Reviewing application files for consideration and recognition of Tan Thanh and Vinh Hung districts meeting new rural standards

At the meeting, Chairman of Tan Thanh District People's Committee - Le Xuan Khang and Chairman of Vinh Hung District People's Committee - Tran Van Cuong briefly reported on the implementation results of the criteria and targets for the district to meet the NTM standards.

Tan Thanh district currently has 12/12 communes meeting the new rural standards, of which 4 communes meet the advanced new rural standards and Tan Thanh town meets the civilized urban standards. The satisfaction index of people in the district with the results of building new rural areas reached over 99.75%. People using electricity regularly and safely reached 99.93%; households implementing the model of classifying solid waste at source reached 79.24%; people using clean water according to standards reached 87.14%;...

Vinh Hung district has 9/9 communes meeting the new rural standards, of which 1 commune meets the advanced new rural standards and Vinh Hung town meets the civilized urban standards. The satisfaction index of people in the district with the results of new rural construction reached over 99.85%; average income per capita in 2024 reached 62.05 million VND/year; poor households remained at 1.68%;...

After listening to the summary report, the Central Office for New Rural Area Coordination acknowledged the efforts and highly appreciated the results of implementing the contents and criteria for building new rural areas of Tan Thanh and Vinh Hung districts; at the same time, requested the two districts to focus on reviewing, evaluating, and unifying the timelines and data in the dossier to submit to the Central Appraisal Council for consideration and recognition./.
